It is so great to see a freind get married….and it is even greater to be the one to tell their story.  Bryn and I have known each other for most of our lives and I am so extatic to be photographing her and Mark’s wedding.  We had such a great time together at their engagement session, out in the almond trees.  Their June wedding is going to be such a blast and we can’t wait to share their story!!!

We just love Alex and Jaimee and were totally thrilled to get to photograph their engagement session in the blooming almond trees.  (There is a two week window when these trees are in bloom….so us Bakersfield photographers just LOVE it when our couples want to have their engagement pics in them!) Alex and Jaimee were a blast and it was so much fun to capture their love. We can’t wait for their 2013 wedding!!!!

Have you ever taken a drink of an ice cold glass of water and thought to yourself that that would be a great water temperature to swim in?  Neither have I….but last week, Quinn and I braved the freezing cold water of my swimming pool for his senior photos.  I loved that Quinn was looking for a unique senior portrait experience and was very happy to be the photographer in this scenario!  Who doesn’t love the chance to be creative? (Don’t worry, we also got some on land before we went swimming)
