Erin and David’s engagement session was shot at a private estate along the Kern River. Every time we turned around there was another little nook or cranny for us to tuck ourselves into and photograph. The estate’s back yard and the Kern River were amazing backdrops to photograph against during the magic hour!  We absolutely took advantage of partially shooting this session on film while we were there! Erin decided on a long flowing purple maxi dress, a far stretch from her tailored news anchor attire, and David in a classic denim and button up collar shirt. Their attire helped set the tone for their shoot, simple, classic, and natural. The entire session was beautiful and as Shakespeare said it best, “I like this place and could willingly waste my time in it.” Indeed we could.

James and Jeana said I do at a private estate in front of their family and friends.  Their colors were turquoise, orange, yellow, and white which Jeana said reminded her of a tropical paradise.  She wore a gorgeous, form fitting lace dress and James wore tan slacks, a vest, and fun colorful tie! Together they were picture perfect!  James and Jeana’s wedding was a total blast, from fun sunglasses to silly faces, we had a great time photographing everyone!  It was a beautiful day to celebrate James and Jeana’s wedding.  After their first dance as husband and wife, they welcomed their friends and family onto the floor to dance the night away!

We photographed the Pavletich family in their vintage neighborhood of Old Stockdale.  Ashley brought out this ADORABLE white studded couch and plopped it right in the front yard. It was the perfect prop for their family session as it turned a traditional backdrop into a chic contemporary setting.  We may be slightly obsessed. This family was nothing short of FUN! The family dressed in traditional attire with mom in a classic black top and trumpet skirt, dad in a button down collar shirt, Lincoln in her pink dress and T-strap shoes and Georgie in a classic black vest. Smiles and giggles splash each and every photo in this shoot, a family blessed beyond measure.
