Adrienne and Brandon’s November wedding took place at Riverlakes golf course in Bakersfield, California.  Their use of bright colors in their flowers and decorations showed off their fun and exciting personalities!  Never a dull moment with this group, we had such a great time taking some goofy photos along with all of the classics.  We were so excited to tell Adrienne and Brandon’s wedding story!  Check out their photos below!

There is nothing like the smell of salty sea air, the feeling of sand between your toes, and the taste of ocean water in your mouth.  (Haha, okay maybe not the last one!)  Engagement sessions at the beach are my favorite so I was pretty excited when Gino (my cousin) and Tiffany (my soon to be cousin) wanted to do their engagement sesion in Pismo.  Not only did we photograph on the beach, we also wandered around town and took some photos at a few local spots.  We somehow managed to get to Splash Cafe witout a line! Yippie!

Remember when you travel to the beach, the ocean and sand are a fantastic backdrop, but don’t be afraid to find some fun spots in town as well.  Please check out Gino and Tiffany’s engagmemnt session below!

In case you were wondering, I travel mostly to Pismo/San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and San Diego, but I will travel to pretty much any beach to photograph your engagement session!

Robert and Lisa’s Cambria wedding was so beautiful!  There is nothing more exciting than to escape the heat of a Bakersfield summer for a July beach wedding.  This wedding was full of details (which I LOVE) and surprises (which I LOVE even more).  One of my favorite detail/surprises at Robert and Lisa’s wedding were the boutineers.  The bride arranged for them to be Star Wars themed because that is the groom’s favorite movie.  What a great way to add a little something special to an already special day.  While I could go on and on about all of the details, photographing on a rocky beach, and the absolute love that was shared….I am going to stop and let you enjoy the pictures.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite thing in the world.  Being under water is a whole new ball game when it comes to photography.  I decided to go simple this year and photograph a ballet dancer under water with lots of fabric around her.  I just wanted to see something romantic, surreal and soft with this year’s series and I truly think that was accomplished.  So….here we go…under water 2014!

Photographing a styled shoot is one of my favorites.  This shoot was photographed at Hart Park and the inspiration was Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.  (If you didn’t already know, I’m a self proclaimed Disney freak)  I know this shoot does not look typical of Disney…..instead of copying the film, I decided to simply be inspired by the colors of Sleeping Beauty and the character’s personalities.  We had a great time with this shoot and I hope you all enjoy it! 🙂

I can not say enough about the amazing team of people that put this styled wedding photo shoot together. This Vintage Chic styled shoot was designed by my good friend, Lotta Alexandersson of Fairy Godmother. The Fairy Godmother team is a team of ladies who are not only there to be your same day coordinator, but are also able to take the vision of your wedding day and make it a reality by helping you design your wedding.
