Carson and Elise’s San Francisco Engagement Session

When Elise called me about doing her engagement photos in San Francisco, I was beyond excited!  Our friendship dates back to the days of elementary school and I couldn’t wait to capture such a special time in my childhood friend’s life.  Out of town photo sessions are the best because I get to do my two favorite things, travel and take pictures!  For Elise and Carson’s engagement session, our original location got thwarted by a wind storm (flying sand and camera equipment just don’t mix) so we ended up at the Palace of Fine Arts for the majority of our shoot.  It was a blast, I even go to shoot a roll of film.  At the very end of the session, we braved the beach just to get that golden gate bridge shot and boy was it crazy.  What a fun time it was photographing a friend in such an exciting city.  As Tony Bennett said, “I left my heart in San Francisco!”
